Call for Papers

The call for papers for Industrial Policies in a Globalized and Financialized World invited theoretical and empirical contributions at the intersection of industrial policy, international finance, and trade.

Industrial policy has returned to the forefront of economic policymaking. From semiconductor subsidies and green energy incentives to reshoring initiatives and strategic trade measures, governments worldwide are actively shaping their economies’ productive structures.

The conference focuses on how these policies operate in a deeply interconnected global economy where international finance and trade flows respond to, and shape, policy outcomes.
